A: The duration of counselling varies based on individual needs. Some clients find a few sessions helpful, while others may benefit from longer-term support. I tailor the service to suit you.

Q: Is bereavement counselling confidential?
A: Yes, all counselling sessions are private and confidential. However, if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, we may need to share information with appropriate professionals, following safeguarding guidelines.

Q: How do I book a counselling session?
A: You can book a session by going to the contact page and completing the form, or you can contact me directly on info@emberlinebereavementcounselling.co.uk  

Q: How much does a counselling session cost?
A: Each session of 1 hour costs £50.00. The first session which is an assessment and identifying if my service is the right one for you, is free, this is for 45 mins. 

Q: What happens in a counselling session?
A: A session typically involves talking about your emotions, exploring coping strategies, and receiving compassionate support. There’s no pressure—you set the pace, and we tailor our approach to your needs.

Q: Can I have a friend or family member in a session?
A: While bereavement counselling is often one-on-one, we can discuss options for including loved ones in certain sessions if it would be helpful for your healing journey.
